Kontakt: Impact Lab

Build a custom Kontakt percussion instrument centered on a signature impact — one sound with real weight, delivered as a finished .nki. Your instrument must meet all of the requirements below.

Requirements

Sample Design

• Three sound types: one low (big), one medium, one high (small)
• Sources are entirely original — recorded or designed by you

Mapping Architecture

• At least two velocity layers that feel different, not just quieter
• At least three round-robins on the primary layer
• Groups named meaningfully

Effects and Sub-Layer Chain

• A deliberate insert chain on at least one group
• One send or bus-style move (parallel compression, a reverb send, etc.)

KSP Scripting and Custom UI

• At least one custom performance control scripted in KSP
• Exposed on a Performance View with at least one custom-labeled control
