Kontakt: Impact Lab

Build a custom Kontakt percussion instrument centered on a signature impact. Your .nki must meet all of the following:

Sample Design

• Sound Types:
  • 1 Low (Big)
  • 1 Medium
  • 1 High (Small)
• Sources are entirely original

Mapping Architecture

• At least 2 velocity layers that feel different, not just quieter.
• At least 3 round-robins on the primary layer.
• Groups are named meaningfully.

Effects + Sub-Layer Chain

• A deliberate insert chain on at least one group.
• One send / bus-style move (parallel compression, reverb send, etc.).

KSP Scripting + Custom UI

• At least one custom performance control scripted in KSP .
• Exposed on a Performance View with at least one custom-labeled control.
