Amplitude Modulation (AM Tremolo)
Amplitude modulation (AM), or tremolo, modulates the amplitude of one audio signal (the carrier) with the volume of another audio signal (the modulator). Typically the modulator is a Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO) moving slower than twenty times per second (< 20Hz) so as to embed a rhythmic pulse onto the source sound.
